Belarus and Russia created a committee

At the meeting of the Supreme State Council in Minsk, the leaders of Belarus and Russia signed a package of documents, including a Resolution on the establishment of the Committee for Standardization and Quality of the Union State. The new interstate body aims to eliminate trade barriers, protect consumer rights, and enhance product safety. The committee will coordinate joint initiatives on developing common standards and quality control, which, according to suppliers' estimates, will increase the competitiveness of goods within the Union State.
