Belarusians — second tourism in Murmansk
The governor claims the figures are not yet final
According to a recent report, Belarusians formed the second largest tourist group arriving in Murmansk. Vrutoch, the regional governor, stated that the current statistical figure is only a preliminary estimate and, in his words, the numbers are only growing. Tourists arrive in the city using both rail and air transportation.
The tourist flow has been noted as a positive factor for regional economic development and strengthening ties between Belarus and Russian regions.
