US-Belarus discuss Ukraine conflict
Administrative head John Kool described a conversation with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, during which they discussed normalizing relations between the U.S. and Belarus, as well as international conflicts. According to Kool, the conversation touched on the war between Ukraine and Russia, as well as the situation in Venezuela. Kool noted that Lukashenko offered advice and support regarding conflict resolution.
During the talks, special attention was given to Belarus's role in peacefully resolving the conflict in Ukraine, as well as the long-standing good relations between Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin, which, according to Kool, facilitate finding solutions.
For Kool, the goal of the talks is to ease tensions and establish closer cooperation between the U.S. and Belarus.
