Since the beginning of 2026, more than 15,000 Europeans have visited Belarus visa-free. According to official data, from January 1 to the present day, 15,910 citizens from 38 European countries have arrived in the country under the visa-free regime. The total number since the introduction of visa-free travel for Europe amounts to 1,274,079 people. The top 3 countries by number of arrivals: Lithuania – 668,090, Latvia – 409,366, Poland – 136,029. Since July 19, 2024, when the list of visa-free countries expanded to 35, an additional 60,594 people have entered. The visa-free regime for citizens of 38 European countries is valid until December 31, 2026, inclusive.
Context
The implementation of the visa-free regime since 2024 has ensured free entry for citizens of Eastern and Northern Europe, including Lithuania, Latvia, and Poland.
In early 2026, over 15,000 Europeans entered Belarus visa-free, with a total of 1,274,079 crossing the border from 38 countries.
