218 thousand visa-free

Since the beginning of the year, more than 218 thousand foreigners have visited Belarus visa-free. According to migration authorities, this year has seen an exceptional number of entries without visa processing, which may indicate a growth in tourist flow and simplified rules for foreign citizens. Among the visitors were residents of countries with a visa-free regime with Belarus, such as Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and others. The Belarusian migration service notes that the number of visa-free trips has nearly doubled compared to last year.

Since 2019, Belarus has implemented a visa-free entry policy for citizens of several CIS countries, contributing to an increase in tourist traffic.
