Belarus plans extra worker protection
The decision was discussed at the 'Council of Ministers' meeting
Additional protections for workers earning income under civil law contracts are planned to be introduced in Belarus. According to government information, a draft decree appeared on the agenda of a meeting between Alexander Lukashenko and the leadership of the Council of Ministers, where it was approved. The measures include establishing mandatory payment guarantees and simplified procedures for appealing in case of delays. Previously, workers under civil law contracts in the country faced uncertain protection in cases of non-payment by contractors.
Belarus is considering introducing additional protection for contractors following Lukashenko's approval.
