Lukashenko: executors must manage everything
"Combat singleton" strategy for Belarusian regions
Alexander Lukashenko emphasized the need for the head of the executive committee of the district to have everything at hand—from construction to production. He noted that a district is an 'independent unit,' and it is important for its residents to receive quality services: jobs, wages, shops, schools, healthcare, and kindergartens. The head of state added that the problem is not unemployment, but rather a 'lack of people.' Therefore, each district should become a 'combat unit' where residents can live and develop.
Lukashenko also recalled the Soviet Union, where districts had their own service enterprises, including construction and road-building combines. Currently, in some districts, elements of this model remain, called 'rayagroservices,' which are now being restored.
Lukashenko urged regional executive committees to provide residents with all necessities and turn each district into a "combat unit" covering everything from work to education and healthcare.
