Lukashenko on medicine achievements and issues

President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko emphasized in his speech that healthcare institutions at all levels operate in the country—from republican scientific and practical centers to district hospitals. He noted that 'they have taken hold of FAPs and shaken them up,' and that it is 'pleasant to see' the results of primary healthcare work—the country's goal. Lukashenko called on the medical community, stating that 'everything will depend on you,' and promised support if any hint of potential appears.

The spouse noted that there are still shortcomings and 'blunders' in the healthcare system, especially evident in the subjective assessment of doctors' work. He said that 'many people complain, but this is bad,' and emphasized that the country is capable of overcoming these problems. The President noted that the Ministry of Health is striving to take steps to eliminate the identified defects.

The call from the country's leadership for enhanced support and correction of deficiencies prompted the establishment of specific plans for further development of healthcare.
