Minsk ready for severe frost

Vladimir Kukharev, chairman of the city committee of Minsk district, stated that typical January frosts do not pose a threat to the operation of heating and hot water supply systems in Minsk. According to him, all necessary work and measures have been carried out, and services are on high alert. Additional backup capacities have been added for monitoring at heat nodes, and an emergency operation plan has been coordinated with Minskenergo and the Minsk Energy Ministry. The thermal power plants are operating in winter mode, making management decisions to ensure city residents are supplied with heat and hot water.

Summary:

The Minsk government is ready to ensure heating and hot water supply in the severe January frosts.
