MVD to check troop readiness: no emergencies

Minister of Internal Affairs I. Kubrakov stated that on the morning of January 8, he set the task of checking the readiness of internal troops units and some units of internal affairs agencies. According to him, "We will check the readiness for action of both equipment and personnel." Moreover, he noted that special units are being checked for readiness to counter sabotage and reconnaissance groups. Kubrakov emphasized: "There is no emergency situation—this is a planned event. All units of any law enforcement body must be in constant readiness. This is what our President has previously said."
