Belarus reserves $16.4 billion

By the end of 2023, Belarus's national bank's foreign exchange and gold reserves reached $16.4 billion, a level not seen in recent years. According to the central bank, reserves increased by $1.5 billion compared to the previous quarter. The growth is attributed to higher export revenues and the strengthening of the national currency. The bank noted that the increase in reserves allows the country to conduct foreign trade operations more confidently and maintain exchange rate stability.
