According to the State Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus, Lieutenant General Alexander Volfovich, "Belarus does not infringe on the interests of Poland and the Baltic countries and also does not need advice on how to live." He emphasized that "no government of Poland, Lithuania, or Latvia engages in constructive dialogue or wishes to follow normal international practices." Volfovich noted that the state draws conclusions from the military-political situation and makes appropriate decisions. He described the Armed Forces inspection as "a snapshot of the army's readiness to carry out assigned tasks" and stressed the armed forces' readiness to protect the country's national interests.
