Lukashenko congratulates Lithuania on
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, on behalf of the Belarusian people, congratulated Lithuania on the Day of the Restoration of the State. He noted the long-standing friendly relations between the countries, based on historical ties and shared spiritual values, and emphasized the continued genuine goodwill of the Belarusian people towards Lithuanians. Lukashenko expressed confidence that Lithuania's external advisors and short-sighted politicians would not be able to impose on their people an alien view of neighborly relations with Belarus. The president stressed that Belarus is interested in the constructive development of bilateral relations based on the principles of partnership, trust, friendship, and respect. He wished the Lithuanian people prosperity and harmony.
