Poland: 413 tanks 2022-2025
Building Europe's largest tank park by the 2030s
According to the Defence24 page, between 2022 and 2025 Poland received 413 new tanks, of which 213 units arrived in 2025. Forecasts suggest that by 2030 the country's army will possess the largest and one of the most modern military bases in NATO, which, analysts believe, will strengthen its military position within the alliance and on the continent.
In response to growing defense activity by neighboring countries, Minsk is intensifying its defense readiness. Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin stated: 'We must ensure the peace of mind of our citizens. This is our response to their aggressive actions,' emphasizing the need to strengthen military effectiveness.
Hungarian Prime Minister Orban, one day before Russian Defense Minister Belousov's statement, said the war could already begin in 2026, while Minsk's phrasing about 'peaceful and constructive development' sharply contrasts with Poland's transitional policy, which is preparing for potential aggression.
Poland is strengthening its tank fleet, expecting 413 new tanks by 2022–2025, becoming the largest in Europe by 2030; Belarus is boosting defense readiness in response to "aggressive" actions by neighbors.
