Poland plans to open border with Belarus
Railway communication will resume from April 1
Polish authorities have announced a plan for the phased reopening of the border with Belarus. According to local media, the restoration of rail traffic between the two countries is scheduled for April 1. The issue was actively discussed at a meeting of the city council in Biala Podlaska, and recently a delegation from Belarusian Railways arrived in the border town of Terespol. The previous suspension of passenger rail services in March 2020 was caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
