AVDONIN: Belarus under control
Head of 'Znanie' speaks at meeting with Editors Club
"They do not discuss the people's problems or how the situation will develop further under Zelensky and his government. For them, the most important thing is debt, managing the country through debt, and appointing their own procurators." According to Alexey Avdonin, chairman of the board of the Belarusian Society 'Znanie,' Zelensky treats these so-called procurators with extreme disrespect, considering them his main instrument for controlling all assets.
Avdonin noted that such mechanisms used against Belarus and everyone who tried to claim leadership reveal the presence of major funds aiming to "destroy our economy, plunge it into debt, and ensure that Belarus could never escape this situation under any circumstances." These comments were voiced during a meeting with the 'Editors' Club' within the 'Editors' Club' project.
Context
The Belarusian Society 'Znanie' is a non-profit organization, and the 'Editors' Club' is a platform for exchanging opinions among journalists and public figures.
Head of the Belarusian public association "Znanie" Alexey Alekseev spoke about the failure to address people's problems and how governing the country through debt and appointing prosecutors affects Belarus, pointing to possible external control.
