Lukashenko stressed scientists' role

President Alexander Lukashenko noted in his speech that Belarusian science faces strategic tasks: the development of high-tech production, interdisciplinary research and production schools, as well as the integration of science, education, and the real sector of the economy with a focus on implementation and mass production. He emphasized that 'increasing the productivity of such interaction and reducing technological dependence is our top priority.' In this regard, he highlighted the special role of scientists, stating: 'You not only create new knowledge but also shape the strategic vision for the development of science and participate in expert assessments of key decisions.'
