Pref: economy – key to union
The President noted that the economy, strengthening this foundation of society, and citizens' well-being are the focus of attention. He spoke about the global trading system, which is being blocked, bent, and broken through the imposition of protective tariffs, technological and energy blockades, currency pressure, and piracy along logistics routes. The President emphasized that certain countries are prohibited from exporting oil, while others are banned from importing it, hindering their economic development. He also pointed out that leaders of the multipolar world, such as China and Russia, face pressure, and their allies are experiencing unprecedented pressure. For its part, the economy should be strengthened through technological sovereignty, reliance on domestic resources and competencies, prioritizing allied products, and protecting the common market of the Union State, the President believes, noting that this is as important a security frontier as military and foreign policy ones.
Context
Most countries face trade measures, restrictions, and penalties from Western countries that affect international retail and import-export operations.
The president emphasizes that the main task is strengthening the economy of the union state to withstand global trade restrictions and external pressure.
