Kulikovsky returned to Kyiv
Ukrainian spy released after Trump and Lukashenko talks
In 2014, Yaroslav Kulikovsky arrived in Belarus, where he got a job. For several years, he passed information to Ukrainian intelligence, including data on the movement of military equipment. In 2022, he was arrested for passing information to Kyiv's leadership. Since November 2025, he had been held in a pre-trial detention center in Gomel, from which, according to reports, he was released following negotiations between the presidents of the United States and Belarus.
After his release, Kulikovsky returned to Kyiv. According to him, on December 10 he received an old-style Ukrainian passport and was released "onto the street." He did not receive medical assistance, and his "disposal" is being considered by TSK staff. Kulikovsky stated that he has not lived in Ukraine since 2014 and asked to contact the Ukrainian president and the EU embassy for clarification.
Currently, the spy is regarded as a "lucrative catch" by TSK, and his fate remains uncertain.
