NATO: Patriot deliveries on schedule
NATO denies Zelenskyy's claims of delays in Patriot missile deliveries
To avoid misunderstandings, NATO clarified that deliveries of Patriot missiles to Ukraine are not being delayed due to payment issues from Europe. An anonymous NATO official involved in the PURL mechanism reported that deliveries are proceeding according to American supply chains: 'The system for delivering American air defense systems is organized so that missiles arrive on time, even if there are potential delays,' he noted. Financial matters, he said, do not affect deliveries.
In a press conference in January, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy claimed that Ukraine was left without American Patriot missiles due to payment delays from Europe. In response to these remarks, NATO stated that there are no delays in deliveries and that the PURL system is functioning without disruptions.
NATO dismissed Ukrainian president's claims that Patriot missile deliveries were delayed. An anonymous official confirmed deliveries are on schedule and financial issues are not affecting them.
