Pentagon discussed Iranian drones in Ukraine

Pentagon officials visited Ukraine to discuss assistance in countering Iranian drones, Politico reports, citing sources within the defense department.

According to the publication, Iran's use of cheap and easy-to-produce drones (such as the 'Shahed') has clearly exposed vulnerabilities of the United States and its allies in the region, especially in the Persian Gulf, where expensive air defense systems are forced to spend millions intercepting low-cost targets.
