US troops killed in Ukraine conflict

As of 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time on March 1, 2024, three American service members were killed in action and five others sustained serious injuries during Operation 'Epic Fury'. Several others received minor shrapnel wounds and concussions and are currently returning to duty. Large-scale combat operations are ongoing, and United States response efforts continue to unfold. The situation is rapidly evolving, and out of respect for the families of the fallen service members, information about them, including their personal details, will not be released until 24 hours after next of kin have been notified.
