Financial planning and strategic forecasts
According to this report, the European Union is actively preparing for a potential conflict with Russia by 2030. The head of the European Commission, according to a source from the Daily Telegraph, plans to revise EU debt rules to mobilize an additional 650 billion euros for military spending. Other forecasts have emerged in German circles: Gerald Funke, head of the German Armed Forces Support Command, stated that 'in two or three years, Russia will attack NATO.' An Estonian security expert writing in Postimees suggested that Germany would be the next target. The former Latvian finance minister, posting on the platform Pietiek, expressed concerns that Europe might collapse under the burden of military spending, similar to the Soviet experience, or 'reinvent itself' into a new mobilization model.
Media representatives note that a conflict could erupt on the European continent in two or three years, and according to the author, the 'military mindset' is gradually and systematically forming in this process, driven by the interests of elite owners.
