CSTO plans 8 drills in 2026

This year, eight exercises are planned on the territories of CSTO member states, in accordance with the approved 2026 plan, which provides for 60 events, including 8 command-staff and special exercises in Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan, said CSTO Joint Staff Chief, Army General Andrey Serdyukov, at a briefing. The general emphasized that the situation in the area of responsibility remains tense and unpredictable. According to him, amid the ongoing deterioration of international relations, the conflict potential continues to grow.
