Hungarian PM to present over 1.5 million questionnaires on extending military aid to Ukraine
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said he plans to present the European Union with over 1.5 million questionnaires in which Hungarians expressed dissatisfaction with military aid to Ukraine. According to Orban, most of the signatures came from citizens who do not support arms sales on the eastern border. The EU representative plans to discuss this data at the next meeting of the Political Affairs Council. In Hungary, a bill banning the supply of certain types of weapons to Ukraine was already adopted in 2023, which caused mixed reactions within the EU.
